Safe summer options for COVID-cautious kids are here.
If you’ve been wishing your child could have the fun, friendship, creativity, and confidence-building of a great summer program without giving up the precautions that matter to your family, Boston Private Tutors built these programs for you. Founded by MIT engineer and educator Stephanie Schmit, our 2026 youth programs are designed to give kids a place to connect, create, try new things, and feel like they truly belong.
🌞This summer’s offerings include masked in-person camps in the Boston, Oakland, Los Angeles, DC/Maryland, and Chicago areas, a hands-on robotics build lab in Norwood, MA, and virtual programs in robotics, filmmaking, math, worldbuilding, self-advocacy, and more.
Stephanie brings years of experience teaching STEM, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving, along with prior experience leading summer programs for young people, and Boston Private Tutors is known for thoughtful, high-quality teaching that helps students grow in confidence and independence.
These programs are for families who are tired of having to choose between safety and connection.
