Communications and Operations Assistant

Boston Private Tutors is hiring a part-time Communications and Operations Assistant to help keep client communication, marketing, partnerships, and logistics moving.

This role is for someone who is fast, organized, warm, and good at turning rough ideas into clear, useful communication.

You will help with things like:

  • Writing polished emails to parents, clients, partners, venues, and team members

  • Learning and using software tools quickly, including AI tools, Notion, Canva, email platforms, and scheduling systems

  • Updating documents, webpages, emails, and internal systems

  • Making simple Canva graphics and basic email/HTML layouts

  • Drafting video scripts, captions, newsletters, and other communications

  • Coordinating logistics, scheduling meetings, following up, and keeping projects on track

  • Finding relevant online spaces and engaging in a helpful, positive way

  • Supporting partnership outreach and community communication

You should be someone who:

  • Can write a professional client email quickly

  • Understands how to talk to parents about their kids with warmth and clarity

  • Is fast at learning new tools and figuring out how to use them well

  • Can make clean, simple designs in Canva

  • Is organized, proactive, and good at follow-through

  • Can communicate professionally without sounding stiff
