Summer Camp Venue Requirements

Our program is a structured leadership and STEM summer camp serving elementary and middle school students. We run organized small-group rotations and hands-on project sessions and operate as a low-impact, well-managed tenant. We are seeking 2–4 dedicated classrooms during camp hours (not concurrently scheduled with other groups), access to a larger outdoor grassy area for opening circle and supervised games, and a larger indoor room for the Friday student showcase. A layout with clearly defined program space and limited through-traffic during camp hours is strongly preferred to support smooth supervision and a focused learning environment.

We also request access to an outdoor eating area (ideally covered; we can provide a tent if needed). Windows that open, where available, are appreciated. We will bring and manage our own portable HEPA air purifiers, which require standard electrical outlets. We request standard classroom furnishings (tables, chairs, whiteboards), reliable WiFi, and power access for laptops and robotics equipment. Temporary storage during the week — ideally a locked closet — would be helpful. Access to sinks, trash/recycling, and short-term loading access for equipment are also appreciated.

We carry insurance, conduct background checks on all instructors, require CPR and First Aid certification, and take care to leave spaces in the same or better condition than we found them.
